UK PBSA Real Estate Brand Promotion to Chinese Students

Unilife is a student accommodation company in the UK

Challenge

6 buildings in 3 cities in the UK. Relatively unknown to the Chinese students.

Solution

Set up the official Weibo & WeChat account and manage these accounts including verification, content translation & creation, etc.. As for Direct marketing, we visited several cities in China and built great relationships with overseas study institutions, universities and student union. Also, we ranged a China trip for Unilife and met with different institutions and agents. By doing these, we collected many enquiries and forward all enquiries from Chinese students and agents to Unilife after making the transaction.

Result

We achieved 300% increase in referrals for new tenants from China. Also, a good brand image built in target students with 210 real followers on Weibo and 93 on WeChat. For direct marketing, as representative, we helped to build great relationships with different institutions and agents in China. As a result, Unilife upgraded service. In digital marketing, we helped them set up Xiaohongshu, Oasis, Tieba, Douban, Toutiao, Zhihu, Douyin, Bilibili, Youku and Douyu in China. Optimised content from text and picture to video and audio. In direct marketing, we are going to range another 2 trips in China and help them in the UK when it’s busy. We will also help Unilife form a solid customer referral system which is formed by the student union, universities, oversea study institutions, agency and social media channels in China.
